Megan previously hosted the 2014 edition of the pageant and also became of the presenters in the pageant's editions from 2015 to 2019.

The beauty queen-actress was crowned Miss World in 2013 in Indonesia. She was the first Filipina to receive the title.

During the pageant, the actress turned beauty queen was asked: "Why should you be Miss World?"

In her winning answer, she stated: "I treasure a core value of humanity and that guides people why they act the way they do. I will use this to show other people how they can understand each other… as one, we can help society."

Back in September 2022, Megan took a trip down memory lane and looked back on her coronation night to mark the 9th anniversary of her winning the Miss World.

Aside from being an actress and former beauty queen, Megan is also a content creator.

She is currently building a production studio alongside her husband Mikael Daez for them to shoot their content.

"My husband and I are building a studio right now for our content, and like an office for us because for the longest time we have been doing everything in our house. We decided it was time to invest so we can later produce on a larger scale," she told Vogue Philippines in an interview in September 2023.
