Actress and TV personality KaladKaren recalled some of the biggest miracles she experienced in her life.

In an interview with PUSH, KaladKaren said, “Alam mo sabi nga nila, a hundred million miracles are happening every day, and it’s very true [for] everyone. Feeling ko lahat tayo parang feeling natin, may mga imposibleng bagay na nangyayari na lang na hindi natin inaasahan.

“I think one of the biggest miracles in my life, that really changed my life, is when my video got viral eight years ago. When I was impersonating Ma’am Karen [Davila]. It was a very unexpected, and it opened a lot of doors and opportunities for me. And, that’s the reason why I’m here. So I’m so happy na nangyari ‘yun,” she said, adding that she thinks it might have been destined to happen.

“I think destiny na lang siguro kasi hindi ko naman siya pinush, hindi ko naman siya inaasahan. And, I’m so happy that I was able to achieve whatever goals or achievement that I have now,” she added.

Likewise, KaladKaren also mentioned her Metro Manila Film Festival [MMFF] win as Best Supporting Actress, and being able to deliver the news on national television as miracles as well. She said, “At saka ‘yung pagkapanalo ko rin siguro sa MMFF as Best Supporting Actress; it’s the first time that happened in the history of Philippine cinema. And then, pati ‘yung pagiging news anchor siguro, lahat milagro siya so I’m very thankful.”

KaladKaren became the first transgender woman to have won Best Supporting Actress in the 2023 Summer MMFF for the film Here Comes The Groom.

As for the Holy Week, KaladKaren said that they might go to the beach as her fiancé wants to go on a holiday in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, KaladKaren, who was an awardee at the Cosmopolitan Philippines’ Women of Influence event, talked about what makes a woman influential. She said, “I think a woman of influence is someone who can use her influence to promote change, to inspire other people, to help people become the best versions of themselves. ‘Yun ‘yun eh. Kasi ang influence dapat ginagamit siya sa tamang paraan, and for you to be recognized as someone na influential, dapat naman siguro may ambag ka sa society. Dapat you use your platform [for] common good.”
