When asked how is her relationship with her mother today, Cristine replied: "It's not perfect pero alam mo 'yun when I see her I say hi and alam mo 'yun talagang tanggalin mo na 'yung nangyari sa past kasi di tayo makaka-move forward in life kung dala-dala mo pa rin 'yun and I told my sister na rin and I'm sure she told everyone pagod na ako magalit."

"Same with my mom, it's a love-hate relationship. It's not perfect, it's not ideal pero kasi that's how we are. Kapag kailangan namin ang isa't isa nandiyan kami para sa isa't isa. It's not like the perfect family... pero kapag may kailangan 'yung isang tao, may sakit whatever, basta kailangan ka, nandiyan kami, ganun kami.
