South Korean boy group BTOB is ready to make their Filo Melodies' hearts beat louder than ever as the group announced they will have a Manila concert on April 7.

As announced in an Instagram post by local concert organizer Ovation Productions, the six-member K-pop group is set to bring their ‘2024 BTOB Fan-Con Our Dream’ tour to the country this April at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

“Philippine Melodies! See you at the 2024 BTOB Fan-Con Our Dream in Manila!” the local concert organizer wrote in a post on Friday, March 1.

The event is in partnership with A Planet and FanGirl Asia.

No further details such as ticket prices and seating arrangements have been announced as of this writing.

In the poster posted by the organizer, fans couldn’t help but express excitement over the K-pop boy group’s return to the country.

“OH KALMA TEKA 😭😭😭 CHANGSUB NEED MOKO MAKITA,” a fan commented.

“Super duper excited!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙,” another netizen expressed.

Some Filo fans also noticed that the group member Sungjae, who is also known as an actor from the hit Korean drama series Goblin with Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook, was not seen in the announcement, which seemingly indicated that the Korean star might not be able to join the Manila leg of their concert.

“HINDI PWEDENG WALA ANG BABYBOY KO!!!! IEDIT NYO YAN!!! 😭😭😭,” a fan stated.

Another fan asked, “san po si sungjae? 😭”

The group first visited the Philippines in October 2016 for their first fan meeting.

BTOB, also known as Born to Beat - consisting of members Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, and Sungjae - is a popular South Korean boy group that has captured the hearts of fans worldwide with their soulful ballads and energetic performances.

The third generation male group debuted in 2012 under the management of Cube Entertainment and on November 2023, after 11 years, the members departed from the company.

In February this year, they announced the establishment of BTOB Company for the group and solo activities of the members.

The boy group is popularly known for their hit songs such as "WoW," "Thriller," "Beep Beep," and their latest title track “The Song”, from their third studio album, Be Together.

In May 2023, BTOB made a comeback with their 12th extended play, Wind and Wish.

As per the press release, the fan meeting is “a chance for fans to show their love and appreciation for the hard work and dedication that the members put into their music.”

Their upcoming concert, which also marks their 12th year in the industry, is their way of giving back to their Filipino fans after seven years.
