Streaming giant Netflix released a clip of the scenes of Korean actor Choi Woo-shik from his series A Killer Paradox which was shot in Manila.

In the show, Woo-shik portrays Lee Tang, a regular university student who transforms from an average person into a killer.

In the clip shared by Netflix on Facebook, Lee Tang, who seems to be hiding in the Philippines, is writing a letter. He said: "I'm doing well. But I don't think I can go back right now. I don't think I can handle the things that I've done or the things that will happen."

Filipino fans were quick to react to the said clip.

"I'm [a] fan [of] him. Every drama he has I literally watch. Looking forward to this. 😍😍😍 Thank you for choosing Philippines as one of your location sets," one fan commented.

"Happy to see you woo-shik in the Philippines," another fan posted.

The clip has already reached 2.4 million views on Facebook as of this writing.

Woo-shik stars alongside Son Suk-ku in the show.  Suk-ku plays Jang Nan-gam, a smart and determined detective. He plays a complex character focused on catching Lee Tang.

A Killer Paradox is based on a well-known webtoon by Kkomabi, which has the same name. This webtoon has received many awards, including the New Artist Award at the Korea Contents Awards, the Jury Prize at the Reader’s Cartoon Grand Awards, and the Today’s Korean Cartoon Award.

In a past interview with Korea JoongAng Daily, Woo-shik remarked that playing a villain was something he aimed to do.

"I want to be a villain. I tried that in The Witch and it was really fun because I think and do these things that I would never do in my ordinary life. So sometimes it’s a thrill. I want to be a really powerful villain at some point," he said.

Woo-shik starred in several acting projects throughout his career including the Oscar Best Picture winning film Parasite, Time to Hunt, The Policeman's Lineage, Fight for My Way,  and Okja, among others.
