Her own rendition of the song is now available for streaming on all music platforms. She credited Star Music and Tarsier Records for allowing her to make her “baklang baklang” version of the hit song.

Clips of her talent showcase made rounds on several social media platforms which fans have been raving about. Some Drag Race fans shared their thoughts about the confidence Marina is bringing to the competition.

“SO FREAKING PROUD OF YOU!!! Crying while watching the episode. Wanna hug you so bad. I love you so much,” Drag Race Philippines season 1 contestant Prince commented.

“OH MY GOD!!!! You’re amazing!!! You’re the best person to represent the PH!!!! I’m so happy to see you shine in the international arena,” Ice Seguerra added.

Meanwhile, in the same episode, contestants were asked to wear looks inspired from their respective hometown. Marina paid tribute to the Banaue Rice Terraces farmers as she donned traditional Ifugao clothing as she revealed how she grew up being surrounded by farmers.

“Bringing my Filipina heritage and culture to the main stage, I feel very, very proud. I have this basket which is carrying sticky rice…To be wearing this in front of the whole world gives me so much joy and pride,” she told the judges.

Marina is battling it out against 10 other international drag queens in the reality show. She is the first queen from the Philippine franchise to compete in the international edition of the competition.
