Kapamilya star Jennica Garcia opened up about how she was able to adjust to her blended family.

Jennica relayed that the decision of her father, Jigo Garcia, to send her to the same school as her half-siblings made her closer to them.

I agreed with him,” she relayed.

When she transferred to the school of her half-siblings, it was that time when she was able to get to know them more. She was 15 years old at the time.

"Paglipat ko dun ‘yun na siyempre kasama ko sila Monday to Friday tapos nakilala ko ‘yung mga kapatid ko na araw-araw ko silang kasama," she said.

Jennica remarked that she wanted to give the credit to her father who really made the effort for her to get closer to her half-siblings.

"Kailangan ko talaga ibigay sa papa ko na sobrang ganda ng pagpapalaki niya sa apat kong kapatid kasi sila mismo as a family sa kanila ko nakita na ‘yung bunso namin mago-open up about love life… Tapos nagugulat ako na pinaguusapan nila lahat,” she said.

She added: "Dun ako nagka-idea na sabihin sa mga kapatid ko na from then on na magka-kapatid tayong buo, na pwede ko pa lang sabihin ‘yun kasi very open naman po sila to each other."

She also wanted to give the credit to her mother, Jean Garcia, who never said a bad thing about her dad.
