Star Circle Kid Quest alum Celine Lim recently shared a heartfelt letter to her younger self on social media as she celebrated completing her dual master's degree at a university in Australia.

On her Instagram page, Celine reflected on the sacrifices and hard work that got her to this milestone.

“I’ve wholeheartedly given my all, pouring blood, sweat, and (so many) tears while conquering my fears. Now that it’s reaching to an end, my emotions are all over the place as I try to soak it all in. Grit,” Celine said.

She continued by acknowledging that her accomplishments were not just for her, but for her younger self, whom she calls "Potpot."

This isn’t just for Celine today and in the future, but especially for Potpot and the dreams we share. I am made of everything my younger self had to endure, and I dedicate this to her—for holding on, believing, and keeping the faith through it all,” she added.

Celine also expressed gratitude to her younger self for the perseverance that led to her current success.

Potpot, I want you to know that our dreams—our hard work—have finally grown into the blessings we prayed for. We’re beginning to reap what we’ve sown, and I promise I won’t let you down and will continue to show up, just as you did for me,” she said. “I am here today because of everything you went through,” she expressed.

She thanked herself for the strength to face life's challenges, saying: “Thank you for earnestly showing up and weathering all the seasons. You had to grow up quickly so I could savor moments and embrace a slower, more intentional life, chasing what we’re truly passionate about.”

Celine went on to acknowledge how her younger self’s tough experiences helped her grow.

You had to be tough so I could learn to be soft. You had to accept all the givens in life; you sucked them up, complained and ranted a bit, but still gave your 110%,” she continued. “You had to live through discomfort so I could have the opportunity to grow. You did it afraid, so now I have courage.”

Ending her message with a note of pride, she added, “Despite racing through life, I want you to know that your efforts didn’t go unnoticed. Potpot, you have not been just a face in the crowd as you always thought—you belong, you matter, and together, we will always be in this life.”

She also left an inspiring message for her followers, saying: “
And to you, who are reading this, carry on. We will continue to persist, and we will succeed. This was once just a dream, and now it’s happening right before my eyes. Thank You, Lord.

Earlier in November, Celine posted a video from her graduation ceremony with the caption: “Still speechless until now, my heart is full of gratitude. 🤍.”

In previous posts, Celine shared that she took Supply Chain Management and Project Management courses.

Before anything else, TYG (Thank You, God) for helping me get through my 5th trimester of postgraduate studies. I’m finally done with my Master of Supply Chain Management after I accidentally disrupted my study sequence last year—it made me realize I love doing Project Management, so it was a win, but it was never easy since I had to juggle both majors simultaneously,” she said.

She also added in another post, “My last trimester for my second degree, Project Management, just commenced today… Thank you for sticking with me in this amazing journey.”

In 2019, Celine graduated from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) with a degree in Food Technology while balancing studies and work. During that time, she also appeared in several Kapamilya shows, including Ipaglaban Mo and Maalaala Mo Kaya.
