Kapamilya actor Sam Milby shared that he can’t choose a favorite leading lady among those whom he has worked with in his almost two-decade career in the industry. This revelation was made during a media conference after his contract signing with ABS-CBN.

Sam has worked with several talented ladies which include Anne Curtis, Julia Montes, Yen Santos, and Toni Gonzaga, among many others.

The Kapamilya star reasoned how unfair it would be for the rest of the leading ladies he had if he were to choose one.

“Parang as a gentleman, hindi ko kayang sabihin kasi I’ve been blessed to have worked with so many napakagaling and so professional and so respectful na leading ladies. I kind of want to leave it at that because I feel like it’s wrong to just cherry pick one,” he shared.

When asked about who he wants to act alongside in the new generation of talented Kapamilya actresses, Sam shared he can’t choose as well due to his age..

“Honestly, I’m getting older so it’s hard for me [to choose]. We have to admit, itong business na ito, it’s a young market. It’s harder habang tumatanda ka. I just turned 40. I feel the age actually. There are so many amazing, talented actresses sa ABS-CBN and I honestly wouldn’t say that there’s one that I would love to work with,” he added.

He then continued that while he is getting older, he admitted that he isn’t afraid of losing his spotlight in the industry.

“It’s something that you have to accept. I mean, showbiz, is not a very stable job kumpara sa mga iba. You can have your a successful show–– ang ganda–– tapos after two years wala ka ng trabaho. It happens,” he shared.

“It’s something that I understand na nangyayari, you have your peak, sometimes you feel like it’s survival mode. I just feel so blessed right now,” he maintained.

Despite this realization, the Kapamilya leading man is grateful to be with ABS-CBN for several more years.

“That’s why being here for the contract signing, I feel napakablessed. I’m going to be here as a Forever Kapamilya for the next few years also,” he shared.

Sam is set to star in the Philippine adaptation of Saving Grace set to air on Prime this year.
