What better way to spend Halloween weekend than by watching some horror series by yourself or with your loved ones. Here are five horror series, both local and international, that you can stream on several video streaming platforms such as YouTube and Netflix, among others.


Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara



This 2008 series is based on the 1974 film of the same title. It stars the Philippines’ Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, who plays the titular role of Barbara. Her iconic screams and acting will surely get you binge watching the whole series which is available on Jeepney TV’s official YouTube account.


!Oka Tokat



This is a Philippine television drama horror fantasy series broadcast by ABS-CBN back in 1997. The title is the reverse spelling of the phrase "Takot ako!” and revolves around a media crew who investigates paranormal cases. Another Filipino horror series classic which features Filipino mythology such as dwendes, among others. 


Nginiiig!



Aired in the early 2000s, Nginiiig is a docudrama which showed real footage of paranormal stories through re-enactments based on the stories of the witnesses present at the event. Episodes of the horror series are available through ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel.


The Haunting of Hill House



This American supernatural horror drama will surely give you a good scare at the most unexpected times in the series. Not only will you have to take breaks in between every episode, you wouldn’t want to watch this alone. This is exclusive on Netflix.


All Of Us Are Dead



If you’re not into the supernatural and docuseries type of horror, this hit Korean series will surely be for you. This zombie apocalypse horror series focuses on a group of trapped students that must power through to survive and reach safety.
