TJ Monterde shared how "Palagi" came to be the theme song of Star Cinema and GMA Pictures' Hello, Love, Again.

The singer relayed that it was the movie's lead actress, Kathryn Bernardo herself, who personally reached out to him and asked for the song to become the soundtrack of the film.

"We were in CDO on August 27, that was the day na ire-release 'yung duet version, anniversary namin the next day, August 28. Sobrang sakto... kakantahin namin for the first time 'yung duet version. Pag-gising ko, pag-open ko ng Instagram ko, finollow ako ni Kath," TJ recalled.

He went on: "So sobrang, 'Oh my gosh... finollow ako ni Kathryn Bernardo!' Tapos gumawa siya ng group and nag-message siya sa amin na, 'Oh my gosh I love the song 'Palagi.'' Parang lagi niya raw pinapakinggan nung time na 'yun. Sinabi niya, 'Can we use the song for Hello, Love, Again?' Siya mismo nagsabi sa akin."

TJ remarked that it was a dream come true for his song to become a movie's OST.

"Ito na 'yung dream ko, matutupad na siya and what perfect movie - Hello, Love, Again - tapos sakto ng gabi na 'yun ni-release namin ang duet version," he said.

The duet version is performed by TJ with his wife KZ Tandingan, and became the OST of the film.

For TJ, "Palagi" becoming Hello, Love, Again's soundtrack immortalizes the song. He explained: "When I write songs, I always imagine scenes. Iba rin 'yung feeling na hindi lang siya hanggang sa imagination ko, 'yung scenes na nakikita ko, kundi sa big screen. And for 'Palagi,' ito na 'yung naabot niya na naging theme song na siya ng maraming tao."

The singer continued: 'Halos kada show namin ngayon may proposals na nagaganap, kahit sa gigs namin. Ganun 'yung naging effect niya sa mga tao. So para sa akin isisimento 'yung song kung magkakaroon siya ng isang movie na official soundtrack siya. And walang ibang movie na nai-imagine ko na pwedeng mangyari 'yun kundi itong Hello, Love, Again.”
