Jennie has released her newest single "Mantra" on Friday, October 11. It's her first single under her agency OA in partnership with Columbia Records.

The K-Pop star also dropped the music video for the track, which already gained 14 million views on YouTube as of this writing.

Fans online were quick to express their admiration for the song

"Jennie has come a long way, her growth as a solo artist is so remarkable," one fan posted.

"This concept is so Jennie. I love this so much!" another fan commented.

In a recent interview with Vogue, Jennie described the track as a girl power anthem. "It's a fun, upbeat anthem that celebrates girl power and inspires every woman to shine in her own way with confidence," she relayed.

The singer also vowed that she would continue creating opportunities for her to connect with her fans.

"I’ll be focusing on creating opportunities for us to connect and communicate, allowing us to share special experiences together and interact with fans from all over the world," she remarked.

Jennie's previous solo singles include "You & Me" in 2023 and "Solo" in 2018.

It was in September when Jennie's agency OA signed a partnership with Columbia Records for her solo career.

Jennie launched OA back in December 2023 to handle her solo activities.

"As I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and, of course, BLACKPINK. Thank you,” she posted back in December of last year.

OA, which stands for ODD ATELIER, "is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected" according to the agency's post upon its launch last year.

Meanwhile, Jennie, along with the other three members of BLACKPINK, renewed her contract with YG Entertainment to continue managing the group's activities.
