Janno recalled that he was there the afternoon that the late actor passed. He shared that he was in the other room taking a nap before leaving for his personal schedule.

“I was there. I was in the next room. I think he even made sure that I was sleeping. He knocked on my door, I was sleeping. I was taking a nap, hapon,” he recalled.

The singer-actor added that it felt like his father made sure that he was sleeping before his untimely death.

Janno felt that Ronaldo’s passing was spur of the moment due to the possibility of the latter having a couple of bad days prior. Before the unfortunate incident, he shared that his father was getting worse as he noticed something different.

Despite having a traumatic experience, Janno bared that he doesn’t feel guilty about what could’ve been but rather he is deeply sad with what happened during and after the incident.

“Guilty, no, because I was taking care of him, I was with him everyday. So no guilt, no questions na what if I… what could have been. But [I am] deeply sad about it. Malagim na nga ‘yung nangyari, and then people added to it. The police, the netizens, the vloggers… put salt on our wounds,” he said.
