Anne Curtis wows netizens with her new blonde hair

Anne Curtis wowed netizens when she rocked blonde locks in an episode of It's Showtime on Monday, January 23.

Anne remarked that she chose a new hairstyle to mark the grand finals week of "Tawag ng Tanghalan."

"Kasi special 'yung week. Iba kasi 'yung ano natin ngayon, grand final week na ng 'TNT' so dapat everyday boogsh tayo," Anne said on why she had a new hairstyle in the Monday episode. 

The actress-host also posted snapshots of her new look on Instagram.

"Atomic blonde," Anne wrote on social media.

Fans of Anne online were quick to react to her blonde look.

"Super bagay! This is my fave hair of yours & the pink one," one fan said.

"Ganda mo mother!" another fan commented.

"She is the queennnnnn," one fan wrote.

Recently, Anne made headlines after she became the cover star of international magazine Perfect.

"With a solid resumé that spans acting, singing, presenting and the effortless ability to sell out concert stadiums and command box office numbers, Filipina actress Anne Curtis is the true definition of an Asian multi-hyphenate celebrity," Perfect magazine posted on social media.

The magazine added: "Beneath the red carpet poise and wholesome smiles, Curtis’ determination is more steely and serious that she lets on."

In her interview with Perfect, Anne shared that when it comes to her career, her goal is to continually push the boundaries. "I’ve made the conscious decision not to stay in the safe zone," she said.

Anne is set to headline the Philippine adaptation of It's Okay to Not Be Okay.

The project was announced during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special last December. Anne will star in the show alongside Carlo Aquino and Joshua Garcia.

The It's Showtime host also recently became the first celebrity from the Philippines to reach 20 million followers on Instagram.

With the enormous platform she's given, Anne said that she understands the responsibility that goes with it.

"I think throughout the years from sharing all different sorts of things from my everyday life, to fashion, to craziness, to my family but also I'm using this platform in influencing the youth to do good and dream big," she stated.

The actress went on: "I also believe in using my platform not only for the positive but raising awareness about certain causes when I feel very strongly about them."
