Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste has denied the rumors, which were being circulated on social media regarding the alleged passing of Kris Aquino.

He took to the comment section of news media outlet Rappler to call out the fake news.

Mark revealed that Aquino is "very much alive" and urged people not to believe everything they see on social media.

Mark is with Kris in California who is undergoing several treatments for her autoimmune disease.

“Kris is very much alive - we’re together now in Orange County. Whoever came up with this fake/false news is foolish, selfish, and idiotic,” Mark wrote in the comment section.

Fans of Kris came to support the Batangas Vice Governor and shared that they will continue praying for the Queen of All Media's health.

Some netizens called foul on the spread of the malicious news on social media.

“Thank God that she’s alive, and trying her best to heal. So instead of spreading false information and malicious intent, let’s just keep praying for the strength, recovery, and well-being of Kris,” Mark remarked.

Mark was recently spotted alongside his children in the US, where they spent the holidays with Kris and her children at the latter’s home there.

The Batangas Vice Governor shared some snaps taken during their simple celebration on his social media account.

The two confirmed their relationship last year, but Kris revealed that they decided to part ways and remain as friends due to the long-distance nature of it.

The Kapamilya star currently resides in the US while the politician has mandated duties in his province.

“Thank you Marc for being here for me especially when my 2 ‘giants’ went home BUT our reality is that there’s a Pacific Ocean that divides us, a 15-hour time difference, and a 13-hour flight. You know how much I believe in you and the last thing I want is to be an obstacle in your career as a public servant,” Kris previously wrote.

Despite their decision to go their separate ways, Mark has always been present at Kris’ house to shower her and her children with love and support.
