Fans who have been waiting for the classic and nostalgic music of Rivermaya are in for a treat as the band's original members, including Bamboo Mañalac, Rico Blanco, Mark Escueta, and Nathan Azarcon, are all set to perform together on one stage. Rivermaya made their debut in 1994 with the release of their hit single "Ulan." The band rose to fame with several other popular songs, including “Himala”, “Kisapmata”, “You’ll Be Safe Here,” “Awit ng Kabataan,” “Liwanag sa Dilim,” “Elesi”, “214,” and “Hinahanap Hanap Kita”.

Rico agreed to the reunion partly because it was organized by Live Nation and would feature the first Filipino artist at a concert, along with his former bandmates.

"The opportunity to do another first is a very strong factor for me to decide. Also, we're the first Filipino artist na ipo-produce ng Live Nation. So, that's big. For me, I've always been open, and it was just a matter of 'Is there anyone who can bring everyone together?” Rico said during the interview.

During their rehearsals, the members shared how they felt nostalgic and at the same time observed some changes and improvements amongst themselves.

“When I listened to the song and I had to review the song, it felt like, I was like parang twelve,” Bamboo said.
