Kapamilya star Melai Cantiveros and her family did a house tour of their new house in General Santos City. 

"Ito na nga 'yung sinabi namin na isa sa mga blessings na natanggap namin and ngayon pinapakita na namin sa inyo, shine-share na namin sa inyo ang aming kubo," Melai said in the vlog uploaded on her family's YouTube channel.

According to her husband Jason Francisco, their new home in GenSan reminded him of his childhood home.

"Bata pa ako ganito 'yung bahay namin. Malaki din, malaking kubo kaya parang sanay ako sa ganito," he said.

In the house tour, Melai showed the different parts of the house including the living room, the dining area, the bedroom, the altar area, and kitchen, among others.

Melai shared that Jason's favorite part of the house is their dining area.  

"Ito 'yung favorite spot ni Jason [ang dining area] kasi dito siya umuupo, kumakain, at tumitingin sa tanawin. Dito rin namin nakikita ang airport," she said.

The house has a huge open area. Melai shared that they decided to build their new house this way as they wanted the fresh air to easily come in.

"Open 'to siya na area, open area siya kasi gusto namin talagang kasi kapitbahay namin minsan lang naman nagu-uwian, so kami talaga papasok lalabas lang 'yung hangin," she said.

Melai and her family celebrated Christmas and welcomed the New Year in their new home.
