MA executives Felipe Gozon and Annette Gozon-Valdes were in attendance at this year's Forever Grateful: the ABS-CBN Ball 2023.

Felipe is the chairman and CEO of GMA Network Inc. while Annette is the senior vice president for programming, talent management, worldwide, and support group of the said network.

Annette looked as elegant as ever in her white gown while Felipe wore a classic Barong Tagalog.

Previously, ABS-CBN bosses Carlo Katigbak and Cory Vidanes attended the GMA Gala 2023.

Carlo is the president and CEO of ABS-CBN while Cory is the Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast of the Kapamilya network.

ABS-CBN and GMA-7 have joined forces on numerous occasions, including the co-production Unbreak My Heart which stars Kapamilya stars Jodi Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia. Also part of the cast are big Kapuso stars Richard Yap and Gabbi Garcia.

Since then, bosses of both networks have been spotted together on numerous occasions.

Just recently, GMA-7 executives Annette Gozon-Valdes, Sparkle GMA Artist Center vice president Joy Marcelo, Sparkle senior talent manager Tracy Garcia, Janna Revilla, and Carmina Cruz, went to ABS-CBN to watch It’s Showtime as part of the show's live audience.

Cory Vidanes and ABS-CBN head of non-scripted formats TV production Lui Andrada joined the GMA-7 executives.

It’s Showtime airs Mondays through Saturdays on GTV, a free-to-air channel of GMA-7.

Apart from the show of support, Annette’s appearance on the long-running Kapamilya noontime show became a trending topic online after Ryan Bang apologized to her for his remarks on Boy Abunda’s Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.  

In the show, Ryan said he and Annette looked perfect together because the latter supposedly looks like a South Korean national. 

Ryan himself is of South Korean descent.

“Nakita ko po kayo sa hallway. Pasensya na po boss. Hindi ko po kasi akalain na kayo ang boss, akala ko po artista kayo. Hindi na po mauulit, pasensya na po,” Ryan said in an episode of It’s Showtime  last Thursday, September 28.
