After years of estrangement, she and Cesar finally reunited and made peace at the debut party of their daughter Sam in August 2022.

In an interview with PUSH, Sunshine expressed her gratitude for her restored relationship with Cesar.

“Everything is okay na. Maayos na lahat. Nagkakasundo. Sino ba naman ang may ayaw na hindi magkasundo sundo?” she said.

The actress also explained her decision to finally patch things up and co-parent with her ex-husband.
