Yassi Pressman and her non-showbiz boyfriend Jon Semira have broken up.

Jon confirmed their split in a statement on Instagram this Wednesday morning, August 16.

“After an amazing run, Yass and I have decided to part ways. We look to move on to our next phase in life in peace and with the support of our family and friends,” he said.

Jon said it has been a while since he and Yassi have called it quits — a decision “made from the both of us, and us only.” He added that the third party rumors involving their relationship are false.

“We wish each other best and will always appreciate what we had. Our relationship was beautiful and we both coming out better people because of it,” he said.

“We ask that you let us deal with this in private as we move forward from this,” he added.

According to Inquirer.net, Yassi and her boyfriend had secretly gotten engaged before they parted ways and called off their engagement. A source close to the couple said that Yassi ended the engagement on Jon’s birthday on July 22 through a text message.

The source also claimed that a third party was involved in the breakup.

“It has been hell the past three weeks,” the source quoted Jon as saying.

Yassi, 28, first confirmed her relationship with Jon in July 2022, as she greeted him on his birthday.

"HBD. So happy with where life has brought us, so lucky to have you calm my anxieties, hold my hand, push me to become better & empower me," the actress wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram.

"I promise to keep giving u surprise cheek kisses at random times of the day even when u think I'm kulit,” she said.

Jon is a businessman from Toronto who is CEO of the personal care line Wavee. He also co-founded the pet accessories line Presidential Pawsclub with Yassi and her sister Issa Pressman. Moreover, Jon is the COO of Wewe Media Group, a marketing agency in Singapore.

Yassi has yet to address her breakup with Jon as of this writing.
