Saab Magalona was one proud mom after her son Pancho, who has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, attended his first day in school.

On her Instagram page, Saab shared that she became emotional after sending her son to school.

"I cried in the car after dropping him off🥹 So many emotions!!! What a milestone 🫶🏻 WE ARE SO HAPPY FOR YOU, PUDDY!!" she said.

Online fans of Saab were also quick to express their admiration for Pancho.

"WOOOWWW SO SO SOOO PROUD OF YOU, PUDDY!!!!!! 🥹😍🫶🏻 You’ve come such a looonng way already!!!!" one fan said.

"Yay! Go, Kuya Pancho! What a happy boy," another fan wrote.

"So proud of you, puddy!! and also to the parents," another fan commented.

It was in July when Saab shared on her social media that Pancho would be studying in a regular school.

Saab admitted that she had her hesitations at first if it was a good idea, saying,  "As a mom with birthing trauma, I was skeptical and I thought of all the excuses for him to just stay home. 'I almost lost him. Absolutely not.' ' He’ll be safe if he’s just at home.' 'What if something happens and I’m not there?'"

The content creator shared that parents with birthing trauma have a hard time sending their children to school.

"Sometimes we can even get competitive with the teachers 🥲 It’s been a struggle but I know in my heart this is what’s good for Pancho. This is good for me and Jim (Bacarro, her husband), too," she stated.

She continued: "I started out skeptical, now I’m excited. Pls pray that his first year of schooling goes well 💖 🙏 Also praying for Cheng who will be accompanying him everyday in school 🫶🏻 Thank you, virtual ninangs and ninongs!"
