Kapamilya stars, ABS-CBN executives grace the 2023 GMA Gala

Several Kapamilya stars were spotted at the 2023 GMA Gala last Saturday, July 22. 

Among the guests at the star-studded evening were It’s Showtime hosts Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario, Unbreak My Heart actor Joshua Garcia, and ABS-CBN executives Carlo L. Katigbak, Cory  V. Vidanes, and Roldeo T. Endrinal.

The event was held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport Pasay City. 

Vice shared a glimpse of the evening through a series of Instagram stories. 

The It’s Showtime hosts arrived at the venue together, visibly excited about the highly-anticipated evening.

The Kapamilya stars and ABS-CBN executives joining the 2023 GMA Gala is undoubtedly another milestone in the Philippine showbiz industry as it marks the first time big names from the South Triangle-based media giant attend the Kapuso ball. 

The hosts of ABS-CBN's long-running variety show stunned the audience as they walked on the red carpet as their outfits complemented each other’s looks. 

The It's Showtime hosts made a buzz on social media, taking the number two spot in the Philippine trends on Twitter until one in the morning on Sunday, July 23. 

Netizens couldn’t help but gush over the outfits the Kapamilya stars wore.

Anne looked dashing as she wore a white dress from high-fashion brand YSL and pieces of jewelry from Tiffany and Co. 

Vice, on the other hand, donned a heavily beaded white gown paired with a shawl and a beautiful necklace. 

Meanwhile, Jhong and Vhong sported contrasting suits which made them stand out as well.

In an Instagram post, Anne expressed her gratitude to the Kapuso network for having them over at their gala night. 

“Thank you for having us,” she wrote.

Vice, in some of the snaps he shared on his Instagram stories, gave fans a glimpse of their table which they shared with the executives of the Kapamilya network. 

Kapuso artists such as Rayver Cruz, Julie Anne San Jose, Michael V, and Kyline Alcantara, among others, were present in some of his Instagram stories as well.

“Mas maganda ako pag malayo, pag malabo,” Vice jokingly told Anne in one of his stories.

It’s Showtime recently debuted on GMA's free-to-air channel GTV earlier this month. 

The hit noontime variety show's move to the Kapuso network came after its contract with TV5 expired last June 30.
