“Yup, ‘Kahit Isang Saglit’ was 15 years ago,” quipped Carmen Soo on her Instagram post last July 7, 2023.

During her recent trip to Manila, Carmen was able to catch up with Jericho Rosales, who was her leading man in the Kapamilya series Kahit Isang Saglit in 2008. The said primetime drama series was a hit not only in the Philippines, but in Malaysia and Singapore as well.

“Caught up with @jerichorosalesofficial and Tita @marinezelizalde during my last trip to Manila,” shared Carmen in her post.

She was all smiles as she made silly faces with Jericho. Obviously comfortable with each other, it is apparent that the two actors have maintained their friendship from over a decade ago.

Though the two still looked youthful, Carmen noted how they have aged as evidenced by their need for glasses.

“We all need reading glasses now,” she commented.

“Reading your caption 15 inches away from my face,” Jericho said in reply.

The Malaysian actress came over not just to visit old friends but to be part of another teleserye once again.

Carmen was recently introduced as part of the cast of the second season of the Kapamilya action-drama series The Iron Heart, where she is playing the role of Harmonia.

Carmen is no stranger to Philippine television, having appeared in various shows such as It’s Showtime, Wowowee, and the anthology series 5 Star Specials and Your Song.

This time around, Carmen was able to again work with other Filipino actors, including Meryll Soriano, who is also part of the The Iron Heart series. Carmen was all praises for the character actress as she shared a snapshot of the two of them together on her Instagram account.

“When I was last at Iloilo for #theironheart taping, I met the beautiful and talented  @meryllsoriano after her last day of taping. Lucky me!” shared Carmen. “Nice to meet you po, I love your portrayal of Juno 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼”

When she is not working, the actress-model happily goes home to her husband, entrepreneur Benson Tan, and  their five-year old daughter Bea.
