British singer Jessie J finally shared photos of her partner and her baby’s father Chanan Safir Colman, a Danish-Israeli professional basketball player.

The two recently welcomed their baby boy to the world.

In her Instagram story posted June 6, Jessie shared photos of Chanan.

“POV: Me not keeping things private,” she captioned her post. “Life is short man. Don’t want to love him quietly anymore.”

In her Instagram post, she shared photos of the two of them together and greeted him a happy father’s day.

Prior to her posting, Jessie chose to keep her private life exactly that: private. Even as she shared her pregnancy journey with the public, she previously kept quiet on who her baby’s father was.

While photos taken by her sister prior to her birth did include her partner, none of the photos really showed his face.

In a recent Instagram story, however, Jessie opened up about her relationship with Chanan.

“I struggle to keep things private,” she said. “I want [to] protect people I love and keep it for just myself.”

She admitted that she had times of indecision when she would want to share her story, but would question if might regret doing so. This time, though, Jessie has decided to share her love with the world.

“I met this man, weeks after my miscarriage in 2021,” she began. “Like a beam of light. He lit up my dark days.”

When Jessie got pregnant in 2021, she did not name anyone as the father. At that time, she said she "decided to have a baby on [her] own" because it was “all [she’s] ever wanted and life is short." Unfortunately, she lost her baby in November. Despite the painful loss, Jessie remained grateful and hopeful that motherhood was still a possibillity for her.

"To get pregnant was a miracle in itself and an experience I will never forget and I know I will have again,” she stated then.

In her recent Instagram post, Jessie paid tribute to Chanan, thanking him for coming into her life.

“It was a whirlwind love and a miracle that we fell pregnant naturally with not one issue during,” shared Jessie. “Grateful doesn’t cut it. He has given me many of the best gifts of my life.”

The post featured a photo of Jessie during childbirth, with Chanan holding her hand.

“He didn’t let go of my hand this day and I wouldn’t have been able to go through it without him,” said Jessie of Chanan. “The calm to my crazy. the peace to my fear. The Daddy to my baby. Thank you.”

Last March 2023, Jessie marked Mother’s Day with a heartfelt message to her son. She posted a photo of her son then, as well as an excerpt from “Sonflower”, a song that she wrote for him.

“You. Thank you for coming to me. Thank you for trusting me that my body can keep you safe. Thank you for gifting me with the most special experience already so far and with the most important role I will ever play in my entire life,” wrote Jessie.

“I love you so hard it blows my mind this is real. I’m yours forever my son,” she promised. “I cannot wait to meet you. And see this smile in real life.”

It was then that she also talked about his father.

“I love your Daddy so much, you wouldn’t be on your way without him,” she said. “He is the most patient, calm and good looking man. You are going to LOVE him when you meet him.”

A week after she gave birth, Jessie took to Instagram to share her love for their son with the public.

"A week ago my whole life changed,” she shared last May 19. "My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love.

"He is magic," she declared. “"He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole 🌍 He and I are both doing great ☁️ I am soaking up every second and still can't believe he is real, mine and here *happy tears* For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued love and support."
