Marina was wearing a gold gown by Filipino designer Rajo Laurel.

“Forever your golden girl,” she wrote in her post’s caption.

According to Marina, it was not supposed to be the gown she was going to wear for the event.

“Quick story time: Was actually supposed to wear a different dress for this day and it didn’t arrive, thankfully Sir @rajolaurel ‘s archival piece was with me for the ultimate rescue,” she shared.

Marina’s appearance at the prestigious event was a historic moment of the Philippine drag community, as she once again created “herstory” as the first Filipino drag queen to grace the Cannes red carpet.
