Jolo Revilla is a proud father after his son Jose Gabriel, or simply Gab, finished high school.

The actor-politician took to social media to share photos from his son’s graduation, which he attended with his wife, Binibining Pilipinas 2016 1st Runner-up Angelica Alita. 

In his post, Jolo shared how proud he is of his 20-year-old for achieving this milestone. 

“This is the beginning of a wonderful future for you, brace yourself for the adventure and excitement that awaits you. We love you and we are very proud of you. Congratulations Gab!” he wrote.

Gab is Jolo’s son from his previous relationship with Rosanna Roces’ daughter, Grace Adriano.

The actor has since tied the knot with Angelica. He and his wife exchanged vows in a garden ceremony held at Newport Beach, California in December 2019.

In a guest appearance on Tonight With Boy Abunda, the son of Senator Bong Revilla described himself as a strict father who knows when to discipline his son.

“Ako super strict ako sa anak ko. I'm a disciplinarian... Actually, kakabigay ko pa lang ng phone sa kanya kasi tinanggalan ko 'yan dati ng phone, dahil alam naman natin ang mga kabataan ngayon kapag masyadong nakatutok sa social media. 'Yung mga iniiwasan nating bagay-bagay na hindi niya dapat makita. Kaya late natin binigyan ng telepono,” he said.

"Naging batang ama ako, eh. At the age of 16, 17 years old, nagkaanak ako. Siyempre, kapag na-expose kaagad siya sa pornography and everything baka maging batang lolo naman ako, 'di ba," he added, in jest.

Jolo said he feels blessed to have his son growing up a fine young man.

"Sobrang blessed ko dahil mabait siyang bata," he said. "Hindi naman mawawala sa lalaki 'yung pagka-pilyo, 'di ba. Basketball player ng school, varsity. So, I'm so blessed."

During the interview, the actor also opened up about his current relationship with Grace, saying they are on good terms.

"Nagu-usap kami ni Grace. Nagu-usap din naman sila ni Gab. 'Pagka walang ginagawa 'yung bata. Kumbaga kapag gusto niyang makita, anytime pwede niya naman makuha. Okay [kami]," he said.
