AJ Dee shares how he sold longganisa in Norway before launching clothing business

Former Kapamilya actor AJ Dee opened up about his journey since relocating to Oslo, Norway.

AJ is now living in the European country with his family. The former ABS-CBN star ventured into entrepreneurship since residing in Oslo. 

In an interview with TFC News, the actor shared how he ended up with the decision to move to Norway.

"It took me a year to decide. Sabi ko, okay I had a good chapter of the show business and I had to jump into the next one which is taking care of the family and deciding to move sa Norway and that was 2016," he relayed.

In his first year in Norway, AJ decided to put up a longganisa business. 

"In the beginning we were selling longganisa. To be honest, we literally made longganisa by our hands and us three. So, tatlo kaming partners doon," he stated.

Later on, he ventured into another business, this time offering custom-made suits.

"I'm very proud to offer our craftmanship. Filipinos are not known for making suits but this one, I'm pretty sure this would offer something more special than what you see in the market here in Oslo," he stated.

AJ's clothing business is called St. James Oslo.

According to its website, St. James Oslo was established in 2019 and aspires "to give the best Made to Measure experience through the quality and value of our product and service with the main purpose of guiding our clients to acquire a garment that they will wear for many years to come."

The website added: "We admire the classics but we also embrace contemporary style."

AJ started his career in show business after becoming a runner-up in the  "TV Idol UR D Man" contest of the noontime show MTB: Ang Saya Saya.

He became part of various programs in ABS-CBN including Vietnam Rose, Rounin, Eva Fonda, Moon of Desire, Bridges of Love, and Tubig at Langis, among others.
