"Okay po kami."

These were the words of Yassi Pressman as she addressed speculations about her friendship with Nadine Lustre.

This was after her sister Issa Pressman and James Reid made headlines recently after seemingly confirming their romantic relationship online.

It can be recalled that Issa was accused of being the third party in James and Nadine's breakup in 2020 which Yassi and Nadine herself debunked at that time.

"Sige po para tapos na po ha. Isang beses ko lang po 'tong sasabihin. Wala pong problema,” Yassi remarked on the status of her friendship with Nadine at the press conference of her show Kurdapya as reported by ABS-CBN News.

The actress added that even their families are on good terms.

"Kami po ni Nadine, okay po kami. Okay rin po 'yung buong pamilya namin. At siyempre po, bago po nag-public ang lahat, lahat po naasikaso in private. So, lahat po walang problema," she said.

Yassi also highlighted that she has been friends with Nadine since they were young.

"And me and Nadine are cool, we're friends. We've been friends ever since we were kids kaya naman, lahat po okay po. Tsaka ilang taon na rin po. Kaya ayon, sana everybody, let everyone be happy," she stated.

Yassi also revealed that she actually had a conversation with Nadine recently as she disclosed to the latter that she was getting anxiety because of the issue. "She said, ‘sorry to hear that. I hope you’re feeling better,’” she shared.

Yassi shared that she was surprised herself when she learned about Issa and James.

"Nagulat din po ako. Sabay-sabay po tayo. Pero nung sinabi po sa 'kin 'yun recently, hinayaan ko na lang po nag mag-decision 'yung mga tao. They’re old enough to make their own decision naman po. Lahat po ng tao may choice. At kung walang ibang tao namang tinatapakan, feeling ko wala naman pong problema," she stated.

Yassi also recently posted a cryptic post on Twitter, calling out those who have been making "fake conspiracies" online.

"Just don’t agree with people making fake conspiracies only to hurt other people. Lets stop being only opinionated, but try harder to be educated with facts," she posted.

"'Cause if the words you threw around were tattooed on you, would you walk around proud 🤔💭 samesame #thinkbeforeyouclick," she added.

News about Issa and James's romance sprung when the two stars were spotted holding hands in an Instagram photo.

James also took to social media recently to address the matter and defend Issa from bashers.

"I'm only gonna say this once. The past rumors about Issa are just that, rumors," he said in a post on his Instagram Story.

"I usually NEVER address bashers or get involved in hate culture but I feel the need to speak up now because this is the start of something beautiful. And I'm  not gonna let anyone take that from me," the singer-actor added.
