Korean celebrities Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin of Crash Landing on You fame have vehemently denied all rumors about them splitting up.

The couple, who first worked together on the 2018 movie The Negotiation, first confirmed their relationship in the beginning of 2021. They tied the knot on March 31, 2022 in a private wedding ceremony at the Aston House of the Grand Walkerhill Seoul Hotel, just a little over a month after they got engaged.

On November 27 of the same year, they welcomed their baby boy.

“I feel like I'm becoming a little adult after having a child. Facing this precious and small life, I realized that we are all someone's daughter and son, and that all babies in this world are shining by their own existence,” shared the first-time mother in an Instagram post last Christmas.

In the same post, she also shared her happiness with her baby’s father.

“And when I met someone who loves me more than me, I felt that I could do anything at the same time my powerlessness [sic]. After many compliments and emotions, I thought it was obvious that I should live grateful but easy to forget,” she said.

Unfortunately, malicious rumors are now plaguing the new family. There has been talk that they have gotten divorced. Last March 15, a YouTube video claimed that the couple have decided to part ways because of financial troubles. The said video alleged that Hyun Bin engaged in illegal gambling abroad. It also claimed that Son Ye-jin’s finances dropped because of this.

Both their agencies have released statements clearly stating that these claims are false and that there is no truth to them.

“It is fake news,” declared Hyun Bin’s agency, VAST Entertainment.

Son Ye-jin’s agency, MSteam Entertainment, also revealed that they have requested that YouTube take down the said video.

Both agencies firmly stated that they are ready to take legal action against those who are spreading the baseless rumors.

“We are constantly monitoring the rumors,” said VAST Entertainment. “We plan to take legal action after an internal review.”

“We will take strong measures,” likewise stated MSteam Entertainment. “And we also plan to take legal action in relation to the content [of the video].”
