Just like any loving mom, host and actress Karla Estrada has always shared a close bond with her four children Daniel Padilla, Jose Carlito, Magui, and Carmella. Last February 8, the former Magandang Buhay host celebrated her youngest daughter Carmella’s 17th birthday with a simple but happy celebration in their home in Quezon City, with all her children in attendance as well as Lella's closest friends.

In her Instagram post, Karla referred to her bunso as her “mini me” because of their striking resemblance to each other.

“I can’t wait to see how high you soar anak !

We are all excited for you!

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MY MINI ME.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY LELLA! 😘😘”

Noticeable on Karla’s social media feed is how proud she is of her brood as she shares updates on them from time to time when they celebrate holidays together or even when she just wants to share her motherly love.

Last year, Lella made an impressive Star Magic All Star games debut where she played in the volleyball event as part of the Star Magic Lady Spikers team. Spotted on the sidelines was her supportive brother DJ who could be seen cheering her on passionately with every point.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH after the event, DJ shared how proud he was of his youngest sibling as well as his cousin Analain Salvador who was the captain of the winning Star Magic Lady Spikers.

“I think it’s in the blood. Parang athletic talaga yung mga lahi namin. Hindi naman sobra pero mahusay talaga si Analain maglaro and Carmella also. I’m just very proud. Ang sarap manuod.”
