Popular comedian Michael V (real name Beethoven del Valle Bunagan) and his non-showbiz wife Carolina celebrated a happy milestone in their union this month by renewing their vows for the 25th anniversary of their church wedding. The moment was shared by Michael V’s good friend and colleague Ogie Alcasid in his Instagram post last February 8 along with the caption, “Happy 25th anniversary mare at pare!! Such a blessing to witness your journey for the past 25 years. Love you both @ayoito @michaelbitoy.”

Michael V dedicated a post to his wife with a sweet photo of themselves holding hands and reaffirming words of his love. He wrote, 25 blessed years and counting.

Happy Anniversary @ayoito. Can’t wait to marry you again.

I love you.”

Sharing the same energetic disposition just like her popular husband, Michael V.’s significant other can sometimes be seen joining him in Tiktok videos on Michael’s account along with one of their daughters. The couple have four children named Brianna, Migo, Maypaul, and Milo. Their eldest daughter Brianna also joined showbiz in 2021 by joining the roster under GMA’s Talent Center.

Known to keep a low profile on his personal life, Michael shares a close relationship with his family and makes sure to spend bonding moments with them when he is not busy with his commitments in showbiz.

In an exclusive interview with PUSH in 2020, he revealed that they were the secret to his longevity in the entertainment industry. “Prioritize mo lang ang importante sa buhay mo. Siyempre ako family first palagi. If you have time for your family, you’ll have time for everything. Whenever something serious happens in the household I am serious. Although siyempre hindi mo naman maiiwasan magpapatawa ka pa rin. You make sad moments light by using humor. The formula is still the same pero yung presentation lang yung babaguhin mo. You have to keep up with the times. Dapat socially relevant. Observer kami eh. As long as nag-e-evolve ang society, nag-e-evolve din yung produkto namin.”

Michael V and Carolina first got married in a civil ceremony in 1994 with their church wedding happening four years later. The couple celebrated their 25th anniversary with a renewal of vows held at the exclusive island island resort of Amanpulo in Palawan.
