PewDiePie is going to be a father!

The Swedish YouTuber — real name Felix Kjellberg — announced that he and his wife, Marzia, are expecting their first child together.

PewDiePie, 33, made the announcement in a YouTube video on February 5 titled “We’re having a baby!”

“I’ve been keeping a secret from you guys, and that is, I’m gonna be a dad,” he said in the video documenting Marzia’s pregnancy.

“We found out that Marzia is pregnant first in November, and I’m just so thankful everything’s been going well so far," he added.

The video showed a couple of positive pregnancy tests and a sonogram of their baby. It also included clips of the couple and of their families reacting to Marzia’s pregnancy.

“I’m so excited. It’s kinda strange to me… It’s entering new territory,” said PewDiePie. “But I feel really ready and so does Marzia.”

“I’m so, so lucky to start a family with the woman I love," he added. "And I know whatever’s ahead of us, together we can do it."

PewDiePie and Marzia — a Russian actress — tied the knot in August 2019 after eight years as a couple. They wed in a private ceremony at Kew Gardens in London after getting engaged in May 2018.

In his video announcement, PewDiePie promised to be the best husband to Marzia and father to their baby as they expand their family.

“Marzia’s the most loving and caring person I know so I have absolutely no doubt she will be an amazing mother. But I promise to help along the way and be the best dad I can possibly be,” he said. “I can’t wait to meet this kid.”

PewDiePie is currently the second most-followed individual on YouTube, with more than 111 million subscribers on his channel. He is widely considered one of the platform's pioneer content creators and is best known for his comedic formatted videos and shows.
