After over half a year of playing the iconic villain Valentina who fights superhero Darna in the primetime fantaserye series Mars Ravelo’s Darna, Janella Salvador looks like she is finally ready to move on and let go of her snake-haired persona onscreen. In her social media post last February 6, Janella revealed her new look courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Jing Monis.

Prior to her taking on the dual role of Regina/Valentina on the show, Janella usually kept her dark brown hair straight and falling just below the shoulders. When she started playing Valentina, the 24-year-old Star Magic artist had to change her style to a fiercer look complete with blonde highlights to show a strong presence onscreen. Last February 6, she revealed her shorter locks and new hair color to the world along with the caption, “Entering her ginger era or somethin 🍊.”
