South Korean superstar Baekhyun of EXO just completed his mandatory military service after nearly two years of enlisting.

The EXO main vocalist penned a heartwarming letter to his fans who waited for his return.

The 30-year-old K-Pop idol delivered his message through the official fan club of EXO.

“Eris!! You waited a long time, right! I’m here! Now, I’m not going anywhere. Are you happy? I’m happy too,” he wrote.

Baekhyun is set to do a live show on EXO's official YouTube channel on February 6 at 8 PM KST to celebrate his much-awaited comeback.

He posted on his personal Twitter account, sharing how scared he is to be doing celebrity work again after years of being in the military.

“We’re meeting tomorrow! I feel nervous?… hehehehehehe I used to be good at talking, but what if I’m not good at talking [tomorrow?],” he tweeted.

He also revealed that he has been working on his first official event following his enlistment.

Baekhyun is the sixth member of EXO to enlist in the military following Xiumin, D.O., Suho, Chen, and Chanyeol. The youngest members of the K-Pop boy group, Kai and Sehun, are set to enlist soon as they will be reaching 30 years old in Korean age. Lay is the only EXO member not expected to enlist as he is of Chinese descent.

Meanwhile, leader Suho previously teased on his Instagram account that EXO will be making a comeback as a full group this year. Fans are gearing up for this comeback as all nine members of the K-Pop boy group are now once again active in the industry.

Baekhyun debuted as part of EXO back in 2012 with the song, "MAMA." The group is composed of nine members, of which seven have already made their debut as solo artists.
