"32 km. I can’t believe I did it 🥹 Now, it’s time to taper for the @tokyomarathon 🏃🏻‍♀️ I’ve deferred my entry since 2019 & decided to commit on Jan 1 to finally do it - giving me just about 2 months to train," she posted.

The actress-host also highlighted why she is more exhilarated to fulfill her Tokyo Marathon dream.

"See you at the start and finish line miss Anne! Tokyo Marathon runner here. Me and Wife are a fan. Hope to meet you in Tokyo!" another fan commented.

"Grabe the determination!" another fan wrote.

In November 2016, Anne did her first major running marathon in New York. She completed the 42-kilometer in the said marathon. She dedicated her marathon to the children of UNICEF.

Anne described running at the New York Marathon as a "bucket list moment."

"I can't explain how fulfilling it is when you cross the finish line. It certainly isn't easy but the whole experience is worth the physical pain. Each borough (there were 5) had a different feel, music and vibe," Anne wrote in 2016.

"The spectators are there to cheer you on, give you power up high-fives and push you when you feel like you want to stop. To all the kababayans that were out there today to cheer me on... screaming and some even with posters, maraming salamat," she added.

Anne also joined the London Marathon in April 2018 wherein she completed the 42-kilometer race in 5 hours and 12 minutes.

The actress admitted that the London Marathon was her hardest race.

"The hardest to get into and the hardest for me to finish. Don’t get me wrong, the route is much easier than NYC but I did not expect the unusual London heat. The moment I hit 20km at 12:30pm," she posted on social media after fishing the London Marathon in 2018.

She continued: "I had a hard time breathing, felt dehydrated, the sun was beaming intensely and at one point I wanted to give up (I know. So dramatic) but I knew I was running this for a cause."

Anne also participated in the marathon for UNICEF Philippines' programs for the children of Marawi who were affected by the war.

This year's Tokyo Marathon will happen on March 5.

A few days ago before completing her 32-kilometer run in preparation for the Tokyo Marathon, Anne turned 38 years old.

"Chapter 38. 🖤✨ can’t wait to live and love through every page of you," she posted on her Instagram on her birthday.
