Rewind star Marian Rivera showcased her acting prowess as she made Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi cry in a prank as seen in the latter's vlog. The YouTube vlog reached 4 million views in just a few hours after it was uploaded.

The vlog was part of the promotional activities for Marian’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Rewind. In the 21-minute long vlog, the Kapuso actress was asked by Ivana several questions regarding her life and career while having a crab mukbang.

Ivana then admitted to Marian that she was nervous filming the vlog because she has been a huge fan of the actress since she began acting. She even revealed that she had the opportunity to take a photo with the actress 10 years ago. 

“Ever since idol na idol kita. From Marimar––lahat yan pinapanood ko araw-araw,” she declared.

The vlog was running smoothly until the last part of the question and answer segment wherein Marian was reminded that Ivana was late for their call time. She then asked the Kapamilya actress why she was an hour late. 

“Alam niyo ba yung call time niyo dito?” Marian asked Ivana.

“Bakit dito attitude ka sa'kin? Ba’t ka nalate? Alam mo ba walang nagpapahintay sa'kin dito?” she added. 

The FPJ's Batang Quiapo star couldn’t answer the questions as the Kapuso actress kept asking why they were late for the shoot. Marian then took her acting a notch higher and told Ivana that she wasn’t satisfied with the food as well––noting that she was promised a mukbang and not just crabs. 

She then asked Ivana to just delete all the videos they had taken as she wasn’t satisfied with anything they did in the past 20 minutes.

“Ayaw ko 'to, wag mo na palabas ah? Naiirita ako… Kahit wag mo na promote yung Rewind, 'wag nalang,” Marian told Ivana.

Ivana began to shed some tears as Marian walked off the set. She then asked her team to help her pack up while the Kapuso actress continued with her acting in the background. 

When Ivana began crying uncontrollably, Marian instantly went back on camera to share that it was just a prank. The Kapamilya actress was left dumbfounded as it was the first time that Marian pranked someone on camera. 

“Wala na, wala na tatalo sa prank na ito, yung prinank ka ng idol mo,” she expressed.

Towards the end of the vlog, Ivana found out that it was her younger sister, Mona, who was behind Marian’s prank. The actress couldn’t stop crying and still apologized to the Kapuso actress for her wasted time. 

“Natakot talaga ako, akala ko may nagawa talaga ako,” she told Marian as she continued crying.

Marian assured Ivana that she wasn’t late nor was she mad at her. She then surprised the Kapamilya actress with a cake as her birthday was coming up.
