Kapamilya stars gathered once again to celebrate the Christmas season and to join the Forever Grateful: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2023.

Kicking off an exciting and fun stage for their beloved fans and loyal viewers, the stars lit up the Smart Araneta Coliseum on December 13, marking their official return to the Big Dome after three years.

In 2020, the special event was previously held at ABS-CBN Studio 10 due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Hundreds of stars and surprise guests put on spectacular performances, making their fans who attended the event squeal in joy and cheer louder than ever.

The casts from different Kapamilya programs and series were also present during the Christmas special.

The trending hit series Linlang’s lead cast, Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino and JM De Guzman made the crowd go wild.

The cast of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, led by Coco Martin, gave a groovy performance at the event together with Ivana Alawi, Christopher de Leon, Cherry Pie Picache, Joel Lamangan, Susan Africa, Irma Adlawan, and McCoy de Leon.

The new gen phenomenal duo, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, collectively called DonBelle, joined the other Can’t Buy Me Love cast members such as Maris Racal, Kaila Estrada, Darren Espanto, Chie Filomeno, Agot Isidro and Nova Villa for a crowd-pleasing number.

The casts of afternoon shows Pira-pirasong Paraiso and Nag-Aapoy na Damdamin gave a fiery number on the Christmas celebration stage.

Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime hosts, led by Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario brought the program’s funny core moments to the Big Dome.

Madlang people also should not miss Anne channeling her inner Ariana Grande in a performance with Martin Nievera.

Music variety show ASAP Natin ‘To had Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, Jona, Angeline Quinto, Morissette, Jed Madela, Nyoy Volante, as well as Maymay Entrata, AC Bonifacio, Andrea Brillantes, Shaina Magdayao, Kyle Echarri and PPOP Groups BINI and BGYO taking the stage in an ensemble perforamnce.

Kapamilya leading men and leading ladies also graced the special event’s stage, such as Gerald Anderson, Zanjoe Marudo, Jake Cuenca, Piolo Pascual, Joshua Garcia, Janella Salvador, Jane De Leon, Angelica Panganiban, Charlie Dizon, Jane Oineza, and Ria Atayde.

Fans of Kapamilya love teams such as KDLex (KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad), FranSeth (Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin), KaoMiah (Kaori Oinuma and Jeremiah Lisbo), LoiNie (Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte), and KimPau (Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino) also made the Big Dome tremble as they loudly cheered for their idols.

A surprise appearance and performance from former couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla is something that fans and viewers shouldn’t miss as it became a trending topic online together with #ABSCBNChristmasSpecial2023.

The Kapamilya network also revealed some of its new shows and what fans can look forward to for 2024.

The two-part celebration is set to be aired this weekend, December 16 and 17, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
