Live Nation Philippines announced that SEVENTEEN member S.COUPS will not be able to participate in the "SEVENTEEN TOUR FOLLOW TO BULACAN" concert as the artist is still in recovery.

"As announced in PLEDIS Entertainment’s October 19 notice, SEVENTEEN member S.COUPS is currently not participating in any official activities to focus on rehabilitation treatment and recovery," the concert organizer posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, December 12.

"Accordingly, it will be difficult for S.COUPS to participate in the SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ TO BULACAN concert. We ask for your kind understanding. Thank you," Live Nation PH added.

Fans online were quick to express their understanding about the situation and extended their well-wishes to S.COUPS.

"We’ll wait until you’re okay love, praying for your speedy recovery Cheollie," one fan said.

"Awwww :( Speedy recovery, Cheollie! Can’t wait to see u back on stage!" another fan wrote.

SEVENTEEN is set to stage their "FOLLOW" concert on January 13 at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.

The K-Pop group previously brought their "Be The Sun" concert to the country in December 2022 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

It can be recalled that SEVENTEEN's agency PLEDIS Entertainment announced via Weverse back in October that S.COUPS "sustained a tear in his left anterior cruciate ligament and underwent anterior cruciate ligament and anterolateral ligament reconstruction surgery. He is currently receiving post-surgery care and is focusing on his recovery."

The agency highlighted that rehabilitation is vital for this stage so it is best for him not to engage in any strenuous activities.

"It has been almost two months since he underwent this surgery, and he is currently recovering. However, the affected area is still in a vulnerable state. Rehabilitation treatment is crucial at this stage, and he has received medical advice that it would be best to avoid any physically taxing activities for the time being," the agency pointed out.
