Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary on Saturday, December 9.

On Instagram, Melai posted: "Simple and budgeted 10th-anniversary celebration but best celebration ever with our loved ones. Chaarrrrrrr lang sa caption, hahahahha."

Melai shared that they celebrated their anniversary with their loved ones in their household, who already became part of their everyday lives as a family.

"Shineshare namin ang 10 years of marriage namin sa mga kasama namin sa bahay na una unang nakakatulong sa bahay at buhay namin mag-asawa. Kung wala sila baka di namin magampanan ang mga responsibilidad namin sa isa't isa," she said.

Melai also expressed her gratitude to their fans for supporting them throughout the years.  

"Thank you Melasons na ngayon Kamsami na ang tawag, na laging anjan sa amin. Masaya man o malungkot o kahit marriage War anjan pa din Kamsamiiiiiiiii sa inyong lahat," she wrote.

Fans online were quick to extend their anniversary greetings to the celebrity couple.

Melai and Jason tied the knot on December 9, 2013, at the Holy Cross Parish in General Santos City.

In a recent interview with Ogie Diaz, Melai shared the secret to having a strong and happy marriage.

"Understanding at respect, yun ang number one sa relasyon. Love, kahit ihuli mo na yun," she said.  

"'Yung love yun ang opening remarks. Pero sa relasyon, para mag tagal, respect na at understanding. Intindihin mo. ‘Sang katutak na intindi talaga," the television host added. 

Melai also said that they will always choose each other.

"Andun pa rin na pipiliin ang isa’t isa, kasi para sa mga bata. At para sa ‘I do’ namin sa simbahan. Hiyang-hiya naman kami kay Lord, ‘nag-I do, I do’ kami," she stated.
