It’s Showtime host and unkabogable star, Vice Ganda, gave relatable and funny reactions during the 72nd Miss Universe competition last November 19 (PH time).

Meme Vice went live on her Facebook account during the competition where she shared moments with friends and her madlang people.

During the opening of the pageant, the star was shouting and screaming, together with her friends at her place, as they waited for Philippine bet Michelle Dee’s opening introduction.

When a sudden interruption happened during the broadcast, the group of friends got furious and frustrated.

“Ay okray! Di naman nakita yung Philippines!” Vice said during her live. After a few seconds, the broadcast came back, however, the Philippines was already done.

The television personality also complimented Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, as she was seen on the show as one of the backstage correspondents.

During the selection of Top 20, the group was at the edge of their seats as they waited for the Philippines to be called.

“Parang Philippines na yan. Peru na eh, Parang Philippines na ang next,” she said and as true to her claims, the room exploded with cheers and applause as Michelle was finally called.

“Pilipinas! Hey! Pilipinas!” they cheered together.

During the announcement for Top 10, Vice shared their genuine reactions of jumping and shouting as Philippines was called once again.

“Pasok na naman ang Philippines! Pasok na naman! Pilipinas! Pilipinas. Michelle! Michelle!”

Vice also said during the live, “Wala na kaming pakialam sa mga susunod basta pasok si Michelle!”

The pageant fans also reacted to the evening gown segment of the competition.

When Michelle came out in her black gown—a tribute to Apo Whang-Od, the legendary Filipina tattoo artist, everyone in the room applauded and complimented the beauty queen.

“Ayan na si Michelle! Maganda! Tattoo ang design! Inpsired by Apo Whang-Od ganun,” the host commented.

“Magaling yung Michelle! Handang handa! She ate and left no crumbs,” she added.

The unkabogable star also shared her reaction as Michelle did not make it into the Top 5.

“Laglag but it’s okay! Ginalingan naman ni Michelle. Michelle, you're appreciated! Thank you so much for representing the Philippines very well. We love you, Miss Universe! We love you, Philippines! We love you, Michelle Dee!” Vice said before she ended her Facebook live.

She later on posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), "From 1000% energy to 0.01%!!!! Shekeeeeet!!!!"

The 47-year-old star also posted another take on one of the questions that was asked during the competition.

“#MissUniverse Q&A: If you could live 1 year in another woman’s shoes, who would you choose and why? Quing henang tanong yan!!! Bakit ka titira sa sapatos ng isang taon!!! Pano ka magkakasya dun! At ang baho dun! Cheretz!!,” she penned.


Followers and fans also shared their own hilarious takes to the question.

“If I would be given a chance to live in another woman shoes just for 1 year. I would choose Cinderella shoes so I could also find my own prince who is willing to marry a commoner like me. And I thank you. Charizzz.😂”

In an interview, Michelle also reacted to how her Miss Universe pageant journey played out.

"It felt amazing. I love putting on a show, but most especially, I love just making all my countrymen so proud," she said in an interview with Dyan Castillejo of ABS-CBN News.

The 28-year-old beauty queen posted on her Instagram her thoughts after her journey in the competition.

“We did what we could but destiny has greater things for us! Everything ALWAYS happens for a reason!,” she penned.

Michelle also added. “I’m still trying to compose my thoughts & feelings with everything going on, but all I know is i’m truly indebted to all of you! We showed the whole universe what our #BAYANIHAN spirit can do and let’s keep shaking them. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. ❤️‍🔥”
