After spending two months in the US, Vina Morales flew back to the Philippines to continue her career as a singer. 

Vina recently ended her stint on the Broadway musical Here Lies Love, where she played the role of Aurora Aquino. 

But before she headed back to the country, Vina spent some time enjoying tourist spots in the US — but not without someone to keep her company.

In an Instagram post last November 2, Vina shared a video that features photos of her and a man getting cozy while enjoying the autumn leaves and sunset in Washington D.C. 

In the comments, Vina’s friends in showbiz like celebrity Regine Tolentino, designer Avel Bacudio, and director Chiqui Lacsamana commented on her post and expressed their happiness for the actress. 

“Go girl!  happy for you,” Regine wrote, adding heart-eyed and fire emojis.

“happy to see you like this pik!!! Missing you,” Avel commented.  

“Ay o! In fairness! Lol🤣😂🤣😂🤣 love yah @vina_morales,” Chiqui said. To which Vina replied with: @chiquilacsamana hahahaha love you too.”

Based on the tagged profile, the man is a certain Andrew Kovalcin who is part of a company called Advanced Advocacy — “an independent advocacy and public affairs firm that specializes in issue campaigns, alliance building, and coalition management.”

Meanwhile, in another post, Vina shared a photo from the dinner she and Andrew had. 

“Dinner for two! ☺️” she simply wrote in the caption. 

Several celebrities expressed their elation over the sweet post. 

“Sis our running joke na ‘ ganda natin walang nakikinabang ‘ di na applicable sa yo ,😆 super happy for u Sis💕I told you Diba pag Broadway mo siguradong ang Ganda mo madaming naka abang💃👏 excited to hear ur kwento Sis 😍” Dolly Ann Carvajal wrote.

Other celebrities who commented on her post were Ruffa Gutierrez, Ice Seguerra, Carmi Martin, and Donita Rose Palad. 

“Looking good, girl!!🙌🔥" Ruffa said. 

“Yaaaaan tayo eh. Yiheee!” Ice remarked. 

“I am very much happy for both of you❤️” Carmi stated. 

“Ayiiiii!!!!😂😂😂” Donita said. 

While everyone thought Vina met her new beau on Broadway, Vina revealed in an interview on Bandera that she actually first met him more than two decades ago in Hawaii. 

“I met him 23 years ago pa in Hawaii then we reunited last year when he visited me in Miami for my tour last year after so many years and he went to the Philippines,” Vina told Bandera. 

When asked about their relationship status, Vina confirmed that they are “dating.” 

Vina has a daughter named Ceana, whom she shares with her ex-partner Cedric Lee.
