Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson expressed his happiness for his former onscreen partner Kim Chiu and her recently concluded Prime series, Linlang. During the media conference for his contract renewal with ABS-CBN, he showed his support for his fellow Pinoy Big Brother alum. 

Gerald and Kim worked on several shows and films immediately after leaving the PBB house. They became a powerhouse love team with fans, Kimerald, who until today are still hoping for a reunion project in the future.

The Kapamilya actor was stunned by the question of a reunion project and admitted that he can’t answer it at the moment as they still have to talk to each other’s management if it is possible. 

Despite this, Gerald was all praises for Kim as he mentioned how she stepped out of her comfort zone by playing a totally different character. The Kapamilya actor called the Linlang actress a “hard worker” for being able to juggle several projects this year.

“Alam mo, yung bagong show nila ngayon yung Linlang, nakakatuwa 'di ba? Naririnig ko parang ibang Kim yung nakikita nila… I’m happy for her because talagang yun yung perfect word––hard worker talaga yan,” he said.

The 34-year-old Kapamilya actor added that he is happy with the success of Kim as she deserves every bit of it.

“Hard working and sobrang inspiring… Grabe yun, fighter yun [at] palaban. She works really hard so yung success na meron siya ngayon with this show, she deserves it,” he added.

Meanwhile, Gerald revealed that he is not yet settling down in the near future as he still has commitments to work––both inside and outside of the showbiz industry.

“Kakasign ko lang ng kontrata so may commitment pa tayo. Ako rin may ibang negosyo outside of showbiz. Andaming commitments so ayokong maging unfair diba? Alam ko na nandito yung commitment, yung dedication ko, pagtuunan ng pansin,” he said.

Though he isn’t closing the doors on settling down as he elaborated that everything he’s doing now is for his future family.

“Nandito yun lahat sa ngayon. But syempre kaya ko rin ginagawa ito, it’s for the future––for our future. Darating rin naman tayo diyan,” he ended.
