"Panalo ni Moira ay panalo ng Pilipinas, kaya ilaban si anteh!" another fan wrote.

Moira has been nominated alongside boy groups BE:FIRST and TREASURE, Thai artist Bright Vachirawit, and Indonesian singer TIARA.

Voting for the Best Asia Act at the MTV EMA is now open at the mtvema.com.

Moira is no stranger to international recognition and nomination.

It can be recalled that back in 2019, the Filipino singer was nominated at the MTV EMA for the Best Southeast Asian act category.

Meanwhile, she won Song of the Year for her track "Paubaya" at the TAG Awards Chicago in 2020.

Moira is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming album.

In a previous interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, Moria described her new record as a "spring" album.

"This album actually has grown so much with me. It wasn't supposed to be the spring album, but I realized that spring is growth and growth is uncomfortable. And it really has been such an uncomfortable growth. But it has become such a necessary growth," she stated.

She added: "And even the unnecessary things, even the things that were so painful to experience, and even the things I would rather not go through again, I've come to be thankful [for] because if not for them, I wouldn't have learned the things I have and I've put all those lessons into this album."

Moira previously released the albums Malaya in 2018 and Patawad in 2020.

Early this year, Moira staged a world tour which included cities in the Middle East, USA, and Canada.
