Melai Cantiveros is on cloud nine after she had the chance to watch a concert alongside her idol, Kathryn Bernardo.

In an Instagram post, Melai shared photos of her attending The Corrs concert with Kathryn alongside their friend, Alora Sasam.

"#TheCorrs with of course A Very Good Girl @bernardokath and my bestie @alorskieee. Pasenxya tlaga Kath @bernardokath kasi medyu mahiyain ang ate melai sayu ksi idol tlaga kita kasi, lab lab Kath, di kami makaget over na ikaw kasama nmin sa concert," Melai posted on Instagram.

Melai expressed her gratitude to PULP Live World's Happee Sy-Go for the opportunity to watch The Corrs live.

"Inang Reyna @happeehour and @pulpliveworld for bringing #TheCorrs dtu sa Pinas 🙌🙏🏻❤️😍 and xmpre to my director @kringkim kamsamiii nabitin ang chikahan natin 🥰 Dream come trueee na makita sa personal at marinig songs nila, grabe ka tlaga Lord, kamsamiii to u❤️," she wrote.  

Fans online were quick to react to Melai's post.

"Love u Melai for loving Kathryn, gonna watch your movie sa November!! So excited ❤️😍😍😍," one fan wrote.

"Ma'am Chief meets A Very Good Girl @bernardokath !! Gonna watch your movie sa november too!! Can't wait!!" one fan commented.

The Corrs had two-day sold-out shows at the Big Dome last October 21 and 22.

The Irish band performed some of their biggest hits during the concert, including "So Young," "Runaway," "Summer Sunshine," "Breathless," and "What Can I Do."

The last time The Corrs performed in the Philippines was in 2001.

"We are so so happy to be back here. It's been quite a while like over 20 years. The welcome you gave us was unforgettable," lead singer Andrea Corr said during the concert. 

Composed of Andrea, Caroline Sharon, and Jim of the Corr family, The Corrs was formed in 1990.

Over the years, they four-member group released seven studio albums and has achieved an impressive global record sales figure of 40 million copies to date.
