The first trailer for Melai Cantiveros' upcoming film Ma'am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul has been released.

Film outfit PULP Studios unveiled the trailer on Sunday, October 22.

"Eto naaaa! Ma'am Chief: Shakedown in Seoul 1ST TRAILER IS OUT NOW! 📷 Buckle up for a Seoul-tastic wild ride kung saan non-stop ang tawanan at aksyon! Samahan si Melai Cantiveros-Francisco bilang SPO4 Selda Kaptan sa kanyang nakakalokang secret mission!" PULP posted on Twitter.

In the trailer, Melai plays a police officer  who chases a criminal who has been hiding in Seoul.  The trailer also revealed that Melai's character is a big K-Pop fan.

"Meet SPO4 Crisselda Kaptan, ang fangirl pulis ng bayan na magiging tour guide niyo all the way to Korea! 🇰🇷 Parating maaasahan, palavarn, at on the go para sa safety ng madlang peeps! 🚔 As a K-Pop and K-Drama stan, laging ready din siya sa kilig moments ng mga Oppa! 😍🫰🏼," PULP shared about Melai's character.

Ma'am Chief is a Philippines-Korea production collaboration by PULP Studios. It's the film outfit's first movie offering.

Aside from Melai, the movie stars Karylle Tatlonghari, Jennica Garcia, Alora Sasam, and a whole lot more.

Korean actors Lee Seung-gi and Do Ji-han will also have special appearances in the film.

Ma'am Chief will be released in theaters on November 15.

It was in October when Melai first announced her role as a police officer in the film.

"Guys mtagal kona gus2 ishare tu s inyu At itu naaaa mashashare kona sa wakas , papakilala ko lang sarili ko ako si #MaamChief 👮‍♀️🚔🚨at ur service🫡 (sic)," Melai wrote.

She added: "Na tinutukoy ko sa post ko na shooting sa Korea and talaga naman Thank you Lord sa @pulpstudiosph sa tiwala sa akin na bumida sa first ever movie ko na shinoot sa ibang bansa 'Koreaaaa' Kamsamiiiiiii , itung movie na itu is brought to us by @pulpstudiosph Inang ❤️❤️❤️ @happeehour and directed by Madam Kring @kringkim 🥰🥰❤️❤️."
