R’Bonney previously revealed in an interview with Thai TV network JKN18 that the first thing she would do after bringing home the crown was to take four hours of sleep and eat her favorite Filipino treat, ensaymada.

A week later, Dyan Castillejo surprised her with different kinds of ensaymada, torta, and mamon. They were flown from different parts of the US including California and New York. Some came from the Philippine capital of Manila.

R’Bonney represented the USA in the recently concluded Miss Universe pageant and is the first Filipino-American to win the crown. Prior to joining Miss Universe, she represented the state of Texas in the Miss USA pageant.
