BLACKPINK has made history once again as the K-Pop group becomes one of the headliners of this year's Coachella.

On Tuesday, January 10 (US time), Coachella unveiled its lineup for the year. BLACKPINK alongside Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean will serve as the headliners for this year's music festival.

BLACKPINK will be performing on April 15 and 22. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny will be performing on April 14 and 21 and Frank Ocean on April 16 and 23.

"Ugh was stuck in drafts. Register now for access to passes at coachella.com. Presale begins Friday, 1/13 at 11am PT. Very limited Weekend 1 passes remain. For your best chance at passes, look to Weekend 2," Coachella posted on its Instagram page.

BLACKPINK previously performed at Coachella in 2019. They were the first all-female K-Pop group to perform at the music festival.

In an interview with Vogue Korea back in February 2020, the group shared their experience performing for the first time at Coachella in 2019.

"I really wanted to go to Coachella since a while ago. I like the atmosphere and the vibe. We often performed set songs in set venues, but I felt really free at Coachella. My endorphins really soared. I made new friends and gained a lot of inspiration. When I got onstage, moments from my trainee years until now flashed by me like a panorama," Rosé told Vogue.

Lisa said that though there were people who probably didn't know them that time, they really enjoyed their performance.

"There were probably people there who didn’t know us. My friend came to watch the performance and said that the person next to them said, ‘Who’s BLACKPINK?’ but enjoyed it anyway. I could feel that we got through to the crowd with our music and performance, so I felt really happy," Lisa said.

"The more I get on stage, the more I feel like boundaries are disappearing. People who come to our concerts are all different in age and nationality. Various people come to listen to our music and see our performances, so it felt as if we all became one," Jisoo added.
