BGYO member Akira and BINI member Aiah are grateful to be given scholarships by Enderun College.

In an interview with Star Magic Inside News, the P-Pop stars shared their reactions when they first learned about the said scholarships.

“Sobrang saya nung nabalitaan naming natanggap kami ni Aiah and ayun medyo unrealistic kasi parang ang laking pangalan nung Enderun tapos binigyan kami ng pagkakataon ng Star Magic na mag-aral don sa school na 'yun and ayon po medyo hindi pa rin kami masyado makapaniwala,” Akira said in the interview.

The BGYO member shared that he was really shocked when he learned the news considering that there were a lot of people who applied to get a scholarship grant.

“Ang dami namin during the meeting, ang dami naming mag-apply for the scholarship at lima lang 'yung makakatanggap ng scholarship at isa po ako at si Aiah na nakakuha ng scholarship so very happy and medyo nakakagulat in a way kasi 'yun nga po hindi namin expect,” he relayed.

Meanwhile, Aiha said that she is already looking forward to going to college again.

“I was very, very happy po talaga when I first found out… Even before they told me about it I actually knew Enderun and the quality of education they offered. I even remember when I did Kumu Live I mentioned it because I was really that excited especially that it has been three years na po the last time I went to college,” she stated.

Akira and Aiah will be taking up multimedia arts at Enderun. According to Akira, he finds the course very helpful especially since he works in the entertainment industry.

Aiah relayed that multimedia arts was actually one of her top three course choices to take in college even before becoming part of BINI.

“Very fitting and timing po siya kasi before multimedia arts, isa po siya sa top 3 na gusto na course na kunin and even before being part of BINI mas na-imagine ko sarili ko working behind the camera, the production stuff, and all ganun po so sakto po and grateful po talaga ako kasi tumpak po siya, nakapag-aral po ako ulit ng college with the course that I would want to take rin if ever,” she said.

Meanwhile, Aiah said that finishing school is important because she does understand the fact that a career in the entertainment industry is not forever.

“For me sinasabi po ito ng parents ko, it is really important na ‘yung education talaga kasi sometimes din, maybe the career that I have right now, it's not going to be forever, at least when you go to school, ang dami mong matutunan. You can use that as your plan B when you want to start something new again. So at least when you graduate and you get that diploma parang you have that sense of achievement din for all the hard work you did going to school,” she stated.
