Gelli de Belen and Ariel Rivera's youngest son Julio graduated from York University in Canada.

On her Instagram page, Gelli shared clips and snapshots of their son's graduation ceremony. She also shared a family photo of them after the ceremony.

"Congratulations Julio!!! We are so proud of you. My son Julio just graduated. We documented his grad with lots of photos of him, videos of him, a few photos of us while waiting, but we forgot to take a family photo. So we just took one at home in our pajamas when we finally remembered," Gelli shared on Instagram.

Friends and fans of Gelli were quick to congratulate Julio on this new milestone in his life.

"Proud parents …. Sarap ng feeling pag nakagraduate sila … it’s an accomplishment not only by your son but you and Ariel too … congratulations!!!" one netizen commented.

It was in the last week of May when Gelli arrived in Canada for Julio's graduation. Gelli has been documenting on social media her bonding moments with her sons Julio and Joaquin who are now both based in Canada.

Meanwhile, Ariel arrived in Canada this June.

Julio graduated from high school in June 2018 and studied in Canada afterwards.

In an interview with PEP back in 2017, Gelli shared that their family once planned to migrate to Canada where Ariel's parents were based. They did not push through with their plan.

According to the actress, their livelihood is in the Philippines so they chose to stay here.

"You know what, ewan ko ba. Kasi pinlano 'yan ni Ariel. Nawala na talaga 'yung plano na magma-migrate kami for the kids to study there. 'Yun lang naman talaga 'yun. Tapos kami, probably just go back and forth kasi dito kami kumikita, e. Andito yung livelihood namin. So why would we give that up?” Gelli shared in the interview.
