Julia Barretto revealed that she would say “yes” if her boyfriend, actor Gerald Anderson, proposes to her. In an exclusive interview with Boy Abunda, the actress opened up how she is ready to settle down and have a family of her own.

The actress, without any hesitation on her end, gave a firm “yes” to the question. Julia became honest with her thoughts and feelings on the topic of marriage. She claimed that she isn’t afraid of the topic of marriage but rather it is something that makes her feel excited. As a matter of fact, she also shared that she became more curious about it as time went by.

Having a family of her own and having a child at this point in her career is something that she doesn’t mind. She believes that if she were to have a child right now, it would be a blessing on her end since she could still relate to her child.

“I think it also comes with my mom and I [being] the best of friends. That’s because our age difference is not so far apart,” the actress confessed. Her mother, Marjorie Barretto, gave birth to her when Marjorie was just 22 years old.

“It’s just we’re so close and I think I just want to have that kind of relationship with my children as well,” she added.

Meanwhile, her relationship with Gerald is something she is super grateful for. She claimed that because of their relationship, she feels like she’s in the right direction.

“I always tell him how lucky I feel that I am with somebody who can guide me in life in general. Someone who can ground me, who can put sense in my head. I can talk to him about anything. He puts everything into perspective for me,” Julia shared.

The couple revealed their relationship to the public March of 2021. Previously, Gerald claimed that Julia is “the one” for him and he is ready to settle down with her after they finish their individual career goals.
